Project ownership, A to Z

Hand me a wide-scope problem, get a system you can run: requirements and a full technical proposal for your stakeholders, then architecture, implementation, infrastructure and documentation. That is how I built a rebilling decision engine now handling 500,000 notifications a day, and a payments reconciliation orchestrator — both written up in the case studies.

Embedded principal/senior engineer

I join your team and carry business-critical workstreams — rewrites, replatforming, payments and workflow systems. Most recently: production services rewritten to .NET + Temporal inside a platform-rescue task force.

Architecture & delivery advisory

Short, focused engagements: design reviews, technical proposals, distributed-systems and payments-architecture consulting, or setting up spec-driven AI-assisted engineering (BRD → RFC → implementation).

How I work

  1. Analysis. Requirements, the right people in the room, key decisions made explicit. You get a complete technical proposal before a line of production code exists.
  2. Delivery. The engineer who did the analysis builds the system — no handoff loss. Doc-driven (BRD → RFC → implementation), AI-accelerated, with observability and CI/CD part of the deliverable.
  3. Turnkey handover. Documentation, runbooks, training — I've trained engineering teams on two continents on platforms I helped build.

Practicalities

  • B2B contract through my Romanian entity — invoicing, no employment overhead.
  • Full-remote, async-friendly; based in Bucharest (EET), EU timezone preferred, others workable.
  • English working language (fluent); Romanian native.
  • Tooling-agnostic: I integrate with your stack, repos and processes from day one.
